This means you get the ease of conventional cord control but the added safety of short cords.

The cord hangs only a short distance from the top of the window and poses no threat to children or pets. Unlike conventional cords that hang in pools at the bottom of the window, the Ultraglide cellular shades maintain a constant short cord length whether the shade is pulled open or closed.
